Resources: workbook and leadership gathering outline
Here are some ways to make leadership team meetings as faithful and effective as possible.

This past April I published a workbook called Alphabet for an Evolving Church: Reflections and Questions for Pastors and Lay Leaders. My hope was and is that it can be useful for ministers and laypeople, providing reflection points and questions about congregational culture and focus. I developed the workbook (originally a series of blog posts) as words started popping to mind as key aspects of a congregation that lives fully into its vocation as part of Christ’s body here on earth. It was born out of my wholehearted belief that congregations are key spiritual, emotional, and relational supports for many people and that congregations have the resources and the message to impact individuals, communities, and the world for the better - but maybe we need some help thinking through how to do all of this differently than we currently are. If you’d like to purchase the workbook, you can do so here. There is an option for individual use and an option for group use.
Beyond the paywall, the rest of this post is the monthly bonus for paying subscribers. (I am grateful for your readership whether or not you fall into this category!) It details both the elements I consider essential for leadership team meetings, ways Alphabet for an Evolving Church can be utilized in those meetings and in a leadership team retreat, and a 25% off offer for the workbook.
